General Policy
Withdrawals will be accepted for any reason when notice is given prior to the deadline of the event. Players must call the tournament office to withdraw at 866-474-9035 EXT 9.
For
withdrawals after the deadline, the player will forfeit the tee
times reserved for his/her spot in the event. there will be no refund
of the entry fee.
Medical withdrawals after the deadline will be
evaluated on a case by case basis, the player
must submit written documentation containing a doctor’s official
letterhead (when practicable). If medical leave is approved, the player
may give his spot to a teammate from the same school, but a refund will
not be given.
No player substitution of playing spot will be given for any reason once a player's tee time has occurred. ‘No shows’ will not receive a player substitution option for any reason.
Withdrawals Due To Participation On Tours
Players who are scheduled to play in a Green Classic
event, but qualify to play in a PGA, LPGA, Nationwide, Canadian,
Hooters, Tarheel, Futures, PGA Section, or another major amateur
tournament
that week, will receive a the right to substitute their playing spot to another member of their High School Team, if they notify
the event office (not the golf course) of their desire to withdraw prior
to their tee time in the tournament.
Rainouts
All decisions for tournaments affected by rain will be made on a case-by-case basis by the event committee
and the PGA Professional of the tournament course. A rain shortened
tournament will be considered official only when the entire field has
made every effort to complete 18 holes. It will be the general policy of
the committee to complete as many holes as possible. Play will not be extended an extra day.
Cancellations
If weather or circumstances warrant, the committee
may be forced to cancel an event. All players schools will receive
funding based on the players current position when play was cancelled.
Note:
If an event is canceled, registrants will receive funding based on when
they signed up for the event, i.e., if your organization was the first
to sign up for the event, then your organization will receive first
place funding based on the number of organizations registered at the
time of cancellation.
